Collecting public feedback for draft documents of 13th National Party Congress

The full text of several draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress has been published for public feedback from October 20 to November 10.
Draft documents to the 13th National Party Congress include the Draft Political Report at the 13th National Party Congress; Draft Report on reviewing the implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2011 - 2020, building the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021 - 2030; Draft Report on evaluation of results of implementing five-year socio-economic development tasks for 2016-2020 and orientations and tasks of five-year socio-economic development for 2021 - 2025; and Draft Report on reviewing Party building and implementation of the Party Charter for 12th National Party Congress.
This implements Directive 35-CT/TU of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels, towards the 13th National Party Congress; Announcement on Conclusion 159-TB of the Politburo on the discussion of Draft documents to the 13th National Party Congress at party congresses at all levels, collecting the people’s opinions and synthesizing the comments to the Draft documents to the 13th National Party Congress and Instruction 151-HD/BTGTU on September 10, 2020 of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education on announcing, discussing and collecting people's opinions in the draft documents submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.
Collecting public feedback aims to promote citizens’ right to mastery and pool ideas for the making of Party guidelines and policies on national development to 2025 with a vision to 2030 and 2045, while helping improve quality of the draft documents submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.
According to Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Theory Council Phung Huu Phu, public comments will be sent to the editing groups, who will seriously study the feedback to complete the documents.
“We are trying to make the Party’s guidelines able to reflect the public’s aspirations and intelligence”, he affirmed.
The official website of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) was launched on October 3, at http://daihoi13.dangcongsan.vn, which serve as a forum to collect and respond to public feedback on Party congresses and draft documents to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress, resolutely fight and reject wrongful allegations and sabotage plots by hostile forces.
The website, built and operated by the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, will update the latest news about Party congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress. The news will be published in Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese, Spanish and Russian languages.
